1952 Harley-Davidson FLH with Sidecar

The Harley-Davidson FLH Motorcylce was manufactured by the Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company. The FLH originated in 1949 as the Hydra-Glide touring model, so named for its hydraulically damped telescopic forks.  Since the introduction of the Hydra-Glide, the Duo-Glide and Electra-Glide models also were produced and carry the FLH designation.  The 1952 FLH was rebuilt in 1966 by Walt Fitzgeralds.  Originally Walt built this bike for his brother, but his brother never rode the bike, so it  just sat for 14 years.  In 1980, Walt sold the bike to George Jarman. This has been a 30 year project for George.  George’s brother just happened to have a side car and frame sitting around, so Walt bolted up the side car and frame to the bike.  George has replaced the fender, seats, and windshield.  The bike was painted by Jack Barnes to finish the project.

Everything is original!
