Cruise Inn & Throttle Down

Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Hill Country is the first motorcycle motel in Missouri. The Cruise Inn & Throttle Down is located on Hwy. 13, 1.5 miles south of

the Kimberling City Bridge. It is just a short ride to take in all the sites of Branson or just 8 miles from the Arkansas border. Riding the hills and curves you can be in Eureka Springs, Ar. in about 30 minutes.
The Cruise Inn & Throttle Down is a very clean motorcycle oriented motel. They have 13 different rooms, each with its own motorcycle theme.
If you need a kitchenette, a single or a room that sleeps six, they are there to accommodate you.

Sitting on top of a hill, each room has the most spectacular view, with a deck that overlooks Table Rock Lake and the sunsets are breathtaking! The upstairs rooms provide covered parking for your motorcycle, just outside your door. If you need to wash your motorcycle they have a motorcycle wash station, or if you prefer to lay around the pool or relax in the hot tub that is available too.
Chip and Evie Meyers are the owners/operators of the Cruise Inn & Throttle Down. Evie handles the motel part of the business and Chip runs the Throttle Down Beer Garden, which offers 82 varieties of beer, several different wines and a few mixed drinks. Chip is a natural behind the bar and everyone there is treated like part of a big family. Whether you are just visiting or a local customer they make you feel right at home.
Evie has been in the music business most of her life and when she gets out her guitar and starts to sing you are in for a real treat. She has a great voice! Jam sessions happen several nights a week at the Throttle Down, and local musicians come by with guitars in hand or if you just want to sing come on by and join the fun.
Chip and Evie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they have done things in their lifetime that most people would only dream of. 37 years ago they met in Spain, married in Italy and their adventure began. They lived in Eureka Springs, Ar. where they raised their family. Evie was in the music businessand played in a 5 piece band. Chip ran the sound and worked for the city. Chip had always loved sail boats, so he bought a 30’ boat and kept it at Beaver Lake, not far from their home. The family spent many evenings and weekends on the boat, but it never seemed enough for Chip. He would always say to Evie, “Let’s just take off and go sailing.”
